Question about Unarmed Strike and Natural Attacks

I posted this on the Wizards Forums, but haven't really gotten much of a response. So, hoping to find more answers here.

---------------------

A monk at level 4 gains Ki Strike, which makes his Unarmed Attacks count as magical for purposes of overcoming Damage Reduction. So, if the same monk has Natural Attacks, would those also benefit from the Ki Strike?

Very specifically regarding Gestalt characters where you are supposed to get the best of both worlds (one class provides for natural attacks and the second class is monk).

Two things come to mind though. First, from the Wizards Article:

Unarmed Strikes and Natural Weaponry

Before we move on, it's worth pointing out that a character making an unarmed attack, even with the Improved Unarmed Strike feat, does not have natural weapons. Nor is a natural weapon a substitute for the Improved Unarmed Strike feat.

As we saw in Part One, unarmed strikes allow iterative attacks and natural weapons do not.

A feat that requires natural weaponry as a prerequisite, such as Multiattack, doesn't work with unarmed strikes. Likewise, having a natural weapon is not a substitute for the Improved Unarmed Strike feat. For example, you don't meet the Improved Unarmed Strike prerequisite for the Deflect Arrows feat if you just have a natural weapon.

Remember, however, that magic weapon enhancements that work with natural weaponry, such as the magic fang spell, also work with unarmed attacks. This rule allows pugilists and martial artists access to some magic weapon enhancements (also see the next section). It also reflects the fact that a creature making an unarmed strike is using part of its body in the attack.

And Second, from Unearthed Arcana regarding Gestalt:

Class Features: A Gestalt Character gains the class features of both classes. A 1st level gestalt rogue/cleric, for example, gets sneak attack +1d6, trapfinding, 1st level cleric spells, and the ability to turn or rebuke undead. Class and Ability based restrictions (such as arcane spell failure or druid's prohibition on wearing metal armor) apply normally to a gestalt character, no matter what the other class is.

Nope you only apply the unarmed strike benefit to unarmed strike.

Regardless of the gestalt benefits of attempting to get the best of both classes.

Gestalt does not increase the number of things you can do in a single round nor does it allow a character to bypass combat rules. The benefit of Ki strike only applies to the mon's unarmed strike - a natural attack is not an unarmed strike.
