D&D 5E Question for folks who use D&D Beyond: How well does it work with the new rules?

That was what I was trying to say. If I limit to the 2014 rules in my campaign sharing I don't know if it limits to 2014 rules when I'm creating a character for that campaign. I'd play around with it but I've maxed out the number of campaigns.
It limits the players if they create under your campaign to the options you allow but there is no 2024 off toggle. You can turn off 2014 but not 2024.

You can restrict the players from the books in the campaign but not if they own them so the players have to know not to use 2024/5.5 options.

This is not a D&DB thing, Our D&D game was great, TotME, our D&DB game went over like a Led Zeppelin. I switched to a new computer in between sessions, so when I hooked it up to my TV it kept flickering. I got PO'd and took my laptop upstairs before we realized it was probably the refresh rate acting up because I gave another player my charger to charge their tablet and didnt have my laptop plugged in. Better luck next game.

The more they add to DDB the less convenient and harder to use the site becomes. I don't think a single project on that site has been finished the encounter builder has been in beta for something like 6 years, and there are things from the 14 PHB that still don't work. If you don't like how DDB works now I wouldn't spend any money there as history shows it only gets worse.

Im with you. Yesterday I said Im not buying anymore for it

There's nothing wrong at all with voting with your wallet. Better to just stop paying for it if it isn't worth the money and time anymore than it is to keep paying for it but doing nothing but endlessly complaining about it. Why do that to yourself?

It's the same argument against people who buy a product but then get mad at what isn't in there-- whining about how "I paid for X but got Y!" Noooooooo.......... Y was there the entire time and you bought Y. If you didn't review the product enough before you bought it to see that it didn't include X and it was in fact Y... then that's your own fault. It's not anyone else's OR WotCs. Don't blame other people because (general) you didn't pay attention to what you were spending your money on.

The encounter builder does not even work correctly with 5.5. The CR calculator is off. They specifically tell you to build the encounter in maps to get the right results.
