Question for PDF users

B for those I have OCR'ed, C for those I don't.

As a mostly electronic based gamer, I far prefer PDF's (if OCR'ed) to hard copies. It makes searching and collecting relevant bits of information much easier, errata more manageable, and I don't have to deal with wear and tear (our books see allot of use).

C but mostly A.

Unless it is crucial that I have it - once it is read it is forgotten about deep in the bowels of my computer unless I print it off.

Reading something on a computer for any real length of time drives me buggy, so I tend to read hard copies. However, whilst running, say, D&D, I'll keep my pdf of the SRD open. With its numerous bookmarks and search capabilities, it's often a lot faster than using the books, particularly if one player is off doing something where he needs access to it.

I'm a master at using an Index, I can find what I'm looking for in a book in the same amount of time it would take to search a PDF. I guess I'm blessed.

OK.. but a lot of RPG books (especially those by certain companies - *ahem*) don't have an index at all.

B.

The main reason I buy pdfs is to ease the strain on my groaning bookshelves. Printing the things out would therefore be a mistake!

If I ever actually get the chance to play something other then D&D - say Iron Heroes - then I'll print the pdf, but isn't going to happen.

B. I think the last thing I printed out completely was Dragonfist, back when it was new and on the WotC site.
