Question on Iron Kingdom Products

Malacoda

First Post
I just picked up the new Iron Kingdoms book, which has lead me to a few questions on past products.

Is all of the material from the IK Player Primer in this book? I got the impression that the Primer was designed to hold people over until the big books came out.

Are there any plans to revise the original Witchfire adventures, to make them fit 3.5e and the new stuff from the new books?

The IKCG contains almost everything that the primer had ( and a lot more obviously ), with a few miniscule exceptions, and one big one: A beautiful fold out map. As a player you definitely don't need the primer now if don't have it already.

Yes, the WFT is planned for release in one book and the 3.5 treatment. No date given yet. It will definitely be after the IKWorld Guide though, which is due in a couple months.

Monsternomicon will see a reprint and 3.5 update too, but not until 2005 sometime - which is a shame as it is almost impossible to get now.

The most anticipated upcoming book seems to be Liber Mechanika though.

See the PP IK forums for more info:

Hmmm. I may have to see if I can find it cheap on eBay.

One the one hand its cool that companies are updating their stuff. On the other, I have the original, so I have to make a choice.

I can imagine what is in that, I can certainly understand the anticpation.
