Question on Way of the Samurai

For the phoenix clan's PrC in Way of the Samuraii there is an ability called shiba's armor which states that the effects of shiba's technique are tripled for purposes of adding Natural armor bonuses to your AC. Has this been errated? Shiba's technique allows a character to boost or lower the level of the caster casting the spell. As far as I can tell - it would only relate to natural AC when a shugenja cast barkskin. There is another feat called Hida's technique and an ability in a Crab PrC called Hida's armor which does the same thing. This feat does give Natural AC. Was this ability a mistake?

It's not the only mistake; Shiba's Strength in the text is Shiba's Mercy in the chart.

I've not seen errata for WotS yet, though it could certainly use it. Since Shiba's Armor seems to just be an accidental duplication of Hida's Armor, and since it's not even mentioned on the chart for the class, I'd say you can probably just ignore it totally. At third level the PrC getsd an improved version of Shiba's Mercy already, so I suspect any errata would just say to ignore any mention of Shiba's Armor.

This bit merits closer reading. The ability called Hida's Armor enhances the bonus from Hida's Technique, it doesn't duplicate it.
