[Question]Paladin's Lay on Hands ability

Eraslin

First Post
I know this should probably be in the rules forum, but it's more likely to be answered here quicker. In my game, tonight, I've a character who's going to be multiclassing into the paladin class. In the PHB, the lay on hands ability says that the character may heal a number of hit points equal to his/her level times his/her charisma modifier. Should this be the characters paladin level, or total character level?

Thanks,
Eraslin

When "his level" is found in a class ability description, it always refers to the class level (ie, paladin level). Can't give a reference, though, sorry. Place this in Rules next time, right?

Reapersaurus is correct. Posting in the wrong forum when you know otherwise is a good way to get your moderators exceptionally irritated at you. Please don't do so again.

Thank you,

Thank you,

Was this question taken out of another forum and added here Piratecat?
Or was he worried that if he put it into a different forum that he would get a moderator upset?
I was a little confused about which forum this should have been in. I thought that this should be here in the DND rules forum. But I did not see it in any forum.. Just concerned is all

it was originally in the General Discussion Forum, ostensibly because it's busier over there and more likely to get a quick response *blech* :(

I don;t see why there can't be an automated instant-appended post that tells when a thread is moved from one forum to another,
I can see why it would be confusing to a reader.
