Questionable Reviewer Reviews

Last August I posted a review of the Book of the Righteous that lead to something of a firestorm. In that light, and with the realization that (in my opinion) full disclosure is the best solution to such conflicts, I thought I would post my most recent review here and take questions regarding it.

If substantial problems come to light, I will edit my review (and its score) as needed.

Your review would be a lot more helpful if you described what's in the book in more detail. What are the varieties of fighter, and how do they differ from the core fighter? What are some of the new feats or class features? Etc.

Right now it's just really bland. And frankly, useless to me in determining whether or not I want to buy this product.

I'd definitely like to see more explanation on the content in the pdf as part of the review.

I'd pretty much agree with Joshua's comments too.

Yeah it's way too vague, no offense. But most of the review is self-explanitory, that the book its going to be a toolkit. Mention things like how well it's presented or, that people who like Pirate game will like this class, etc.

You need some examples of what is in the product. I have no idea what the ideas are, I could love them, I could hate them, I'll just have to buy the product to find out.

The review is much too short. While I don't care for the "Table of Contents" style of review, this review would benefit from a good number of clear and concise examples of what you are talking about.

I generally like the above reviews of the review - I get a good sense of what's contained in the review, but perhaps there should be a more standard metric of reviews, say a percentage of fluff to crunch, so I can compare it to other reviews more directly.
