Questions a three...

A few rule questions (appropriate in this forum, no?)

1 - Spells with Ranged Touch Attacks. From what I gather, there is _no_ range penalty, correct? So 5' to 500' is the same chance to hit?

2 - Druid Wildshape (3.5e), is it X hours per level. Is that X hours per DAY, or X hours per FORM? I'm guessing the former, as within a few levels the latter would mean all day, pretty much.

3 - Wind Walk, the spell (again 3.5e) has a will save (harmless). Would mounts be considered "willing" to come along, are they assumed to be able to be included in the spell?

Quite likely more questions later.

Thanks,

1. Correct. As long as it's within the range of the spell there is no penalty to hit.

2. It's X hours per form. So an 8th level druid can spend all day in animal form, but would have to utilize all three daily uses of the wildshape ability to do so (since each use lasts 8 hrs).

3. I'd say the average mount would be freaked out as heck to be affected by a wind walk spell. But that's just me :)

Thought you need Share Spell to accomplish this, unless you are casting separately for the horses. But even so, still think they might be freaked and not do it without some serious Handle Animal or control of some type.

Wildshape: Confirming that it is per form. An 8th level druid can be wildshaped 24 hours per day, but that limits his choice of forms to 3 forms and they must be assumed at set hours. Increases in duration and times per day allow the druid to be wildshaped for long periods and still choose amongst his various forms more freely.

Windwalk would have an effect on a mount, but it is unlikely to be able to control it intelligently. In other words, it moves about at 10' instead of getting the wind going. It might be specially trained to use the wind aspect of the spell, but a standard mount would be unable to do this. Further, any animal would panic when this occured, at least until it was trained to handle it.
