To answer your questions in order:

1) Dungeons & Dragons (three saddle stitched, paperbound books, pre-dating Basic, Expert or Advanced.)

2) Basic Dungeons & Dragons.

3) Expert Dungeons & Dragons.

1. D&D 3.5. Played a human sorcerer so busty that I convinced the DM to count her as large size.
2. Basic.
3. Expert.

1. AD&D 2E. First time playing, the DM thought you rolled a d20 to determine stats and THAC0, I ended up playing at 1st level w/ THAC0 of 5.
2&3: Covered.

My first experience with 'real' D&D was with 3.0e. Before playing real D&D I have played CPU games that ran off of advanced D&D (2.0e) rules (such as "icewind dale" 1 and 2 and "planescape: Torment", which by the way is one of the best D&D console games I have played [i havent played Baldurs Gate 2 though]).
