Sure, but many folks like BECMI, and since I started with Holmes I still like to give his work the recognition by but not just saying B/X since B has more than one meaning

I started with AD&D in my highschool days about 15ish years ago.

Restarted with 3.5 with smatterings of 3.0, mixing different campaign settings of Eberron, Forgotten Realms and Greyhawk.
