Quick BoVD question...

Umm... you can use the Dark Speech feat to create a hivemind, you don't have to be a Verminlord and within the Dark Speech description, it gives no limit to the number of hiveminds you can have (other then your Con score).

Hmmm. Right, I hadn't read that part yet.

The costs are pretty steep though. 1d4 constitution loss for creating the hivemind and 1d4 additionnal damage for each word (command) in dark speech.

Your suggestions better be very short if you want to order or control more than one hivemind (or you better be lucky with your dice rolling :D).

BTW, can a hivemind created through Dark speech turn against its creator once the commands are fulfilled?

The constitution loss is only temp, and Dark Speech in the hands of a cleric (who could easily heal the damage) could be devistating. Also, the suggestion could be rather open-ended, so if used by an npc bad-guy, they could create havoc in a large scale. Would make one great villain ;)

As far as it turning against the user.. probably, but I'm not sure. I'm not home right now and don't have the BoVD with me.
