Quick, I need a character concept!

Here is a novel idea, just be lowly deck hand. Make him 4 levels of whatever. Put in some ranks in Profession Salior and swimming and then rise above the rest of the crew and let the campaign direct you what to take.

Why the hell does EVERY single character concept have to be over the top, Son of a King, lost in the woods raised by beavers, and trained in the ancient art of fairy basket weaving. Whats wrong with being Fred, foot sodlier of the army, or just an every day city guard.

Think simple man.

That could be fun, I'll have to try it.

Thanks Dagger!

Can he fight crime?

I like the Sorcerer on the run idea, give him all spells that improve his fighting ability, give him a rapier and weapon finesse and have him pretend he is just a really good fighter instead of a sorcerer who uses magic to cover for his lack of physical skills. (one level of fighter the rest in sorcerer). He knows if he gets caught using his magic he will be in deep trouble, so he tries to keep it low key and pretends to be a swordsmen.

Play a monk. Invest max ranks into jump. get a ring of jumping if you can. Be the head of every boarding party... about two or three minutes before everyone else is.

Or be an investigative reporter disguised as a sailor in order to do his big prize-winning report on the dangers of piracy.

Demiurge out.

Dammit, Meatwad! You can't mow the lawn with matches!

be a sentient swedish meatball with only 1 tooth and an intelligence score of 7. shnyah! :D

That's a sig quote if I ever saw one... :D

On-topic, though, you could put together a research-based character with a couple levels of expert and bard. Kinda like a medival Jacques Cousteau... :)

Point taken!

He's a quadrapelegic ex-fighter who multiclassed to a psion at lvl 2 after his appandages were removed by kobolds. He now floats around in the air in a Baron Vladimir Harkonen-style floaty-thingy. :)

And he's a super villian!
