Quick PS: Torment questions

whydirt

First Post
I'm trying to avoid using a FAQ unless absolutely necessary, but I had a couple of quick questions.

1. Can TNO only join one faction during the game? I'd be cool to get all the phat lewt out of the Civic Festhall, but I'm also trying to hold out and try and join the Godsmen later on if possible.

2. After learning all the "burning" spells from Ignus, does he have much use story-wise? I'm just trying to plan ahead for my party planning and while a lot of things that make things go "boom" is very neat, Ignus seems to be a one-trick pony.

3. Do Annah's thieving skills ever become useful? Any tips for making her viable in combat?

4. Is there anything useful in Pharod's vault? I just found a bunch of books that I couldn't take. Did I miss some small group of important pixels in there?

Thanks!

1. I think you can only join one, however, I found it was possible to bluff my way into the festhall and get the full benefits.

2. No idea, since the only time I had him in my party, he decided to try to kill me after I annoyed him during a conversation, and I had to put him down.

3. Not really, that I remember... In combat, I found she did ok with some of the better punch daggers, and I heard some people say she did pretty well when used to scout, hide in shadows and backstab.

4. Drawing a blank here... It's been a while.

1. It was a long time since I played the game, but I am sure I could enter the festhall as a godsman.

2. One of those things you have to see for yourself. :)

3. Yes, she can be quite usefull sometimes, if not for thieving and combat, for the story.

4. Nothing important, really. A couple of scrolls and earrings what I can remember.

1. You can join all the factions, provided you qualify. But you can only be in one at a time, and only join each once.

2. Ignus has some great conversation options. :) You can do what I did, and save before you kick him out of the party, just in case you want to have someone else instead.

3. Yes. Hide in shadows is the best. Aside from getting great AC. Her job was to scout. If I thought I could get away with it (or had a handy corner) she'd run out, backstab, then run back to the corner and hide. This repeats until they're too close, where as she runs past my waiting party (in a wedge formation) and enjoys as we pelt the enemy with spells. Just beware as the run and gun technique can do some crazy stuff but won't always work.

4. Mostly junk. Some earrings, I think. But mostly junk.
