Quick question hoping for a quick answer...

Why does the crit multiplier matter?

If my axe does +2d10 on a crit, and my sword does +1d10 on a crit (but the sword crits twice as often), then on average the extra damage will be the same.

1d20? ... um the crit multiplier determines the amount of burst dmg.

x2 gets 1d10
x3 gets 2d10
x4 gets 3d10
