Quick question on the ghost template.

Heya,

When you apply the ghost template to a creature with natural weapons, how many touch attacks do they get a round?

For example, I'm being attacked by a ghostly gibbering mouther. The mouther normally has 6 bite attacks. Does it now get 6 incorporeal touch attacks? Or are incorporeal touch attacks based off of base attack bonus?

Since the description of the ghost template says (3.5 MM, pg.117) that a ghost "retains all the attacks of the base creature", I'd say that's 6 incorporeal touch attacks in the case of your ghostly gibbering mouther. Enjoy

I know it's an old thread, but couldn't let a wrong answer remain there.

"A ghost retains all the attacks of the base creature, although those relying on physical contact do not affect creatures that are not ethereal."

and

"Against nonethereal creatures, the ghost usually cannot deal physical damage at all but can use its special attacks, if any, when it manifests (see below)."
