quick scroll question

can you cast a scroll defensively? it says it's like casting a spell and provokes an attack of oppertunity, so can you cast it defensively?

also am i mistaken or would a poor wizard who wanted to pull a spell out of his bag and cast it provoke 2 attacks of oppertunity, one for taking an object out and another for casting a spell from a scroll?

I'd say you couldn't cast it defensively, as that would require breaking concentration on the actual text to glance up at what the opponent is up to.
