13000 gp for a PC. NPC gets 5600 gp.

Question for ya. Where'd you come up with that number?

Looking here at the DMG, here's the table for PC wealth found on p. 54:

Level - Expected gain - Encounter Treasure - Treasure per character

Code:
1 - 900 - 3,999 - 1,000
2 - 1,800 - 7,998 - 2,000
3 - 2,700 - 11,997 - 2,999
4 - 3,600 - 15,996 - 3,999
5 - 4,000 - 21,328 - 5,332
6 - 6,000 - 26,660 - 6,665

And about that table. Anyone ever wonder why the jump from 4 to 5 is smaller than the jump from 3 to 4? Same thing with 7 to 8 vs 6 to 7. Just curious. You'd think there would be a nice mathematical expression to figure this stuff out.

The table you want is on page 135, character wealth by level. I'm not sure where those figures on page 54 come from. Maybe if I was a bit more awake I could work it out.

Oops, no - actualy it is because I made a mental mistake. Sorry, Character 6th level means beginning 6th level, so onlty the first 5 levels count. If you add 900, 1800, 2700, 3600, and 4000 together you do get 13000. I was throwing in that extra 6 - but nevermind me. Both tables show the same info. I just can read them right cause I'm sick.
