This is actually for Eqrpg game, but as it still applies to 3e too, thought I would ask it.
Can a caster who states that he/she is readying a spell to go off before the other casters to try and disrupt the casting with damage, use a quickened spell then the normal readied spell?
Example: The caster starts to cast, I cast a quickened magic missle(actually it was Shock of Ice in the EQ game) then cast magic missle(which I was readying), therefore making the aforementioned caster make a spell check for being hit DC 10 + spell level+damage, is this all correct?
