Hi all,
hopefully someone can help me. I have tried and tried to place quotes into my posts but I cannot get it to work as others obviously do. What is the procedure? I looked at the help but iit didn't help me. I have tried copying and pasting, but I only get one line (or until a carriage return). In addition how do you get a quote to be correctly attributed? Any help/tutorials would be greatly appreciated.

If the "quote" button in the lower right corner (of the message you want to quote from) doesn't work for you, there is probably something wrong with your browser.

Right! Pressing the Quote button on the message you want to quote places that message inside of tags that look like {quote} and {/quote} (with the {} replaced by [] ). It also bolds it (with the b tag) and attributes it.

Once it's there, you can pare down the original message to the relevant bits, and then add your own comments underneath.

Ah! Thank you. I kept trying to quote once I was in the screen to reply, and it just wasn't working. And thank you Piratecat, I do try to keep things in order.
