R.A. Salvatore - " The Two Swords"

Aurrellian

Has anyone else completed and had time to digest the book and what did you think about it?

Being a fan of heroic fantasy I enjoyed it a great deal, though in retrospect it seems like in terms of progressing all the story threads it didn't actually accomplish much, and I don't want to spoil what bit it did. What did everyone else think?

I have not read it yet, but I am finding The Sea of Swords to be a really good read. Almost as good as Servant of the Shard. These last two I would say are the best of the series so far.

Still waiting for my copy to arrive. I ordered it from amazon.com earlier this week. I'll be back later to post my thoughts on the book.

Wow, I'm interested to see if you like it after you finish it. I didn't like SoS very much at all. I found it to be one of the weakest of the Drizzt books.

I have to admit, that, while I liked the book, I was absolutely unhappy with the way it ended. This wasn't the promised "resolution" book at all, but rather an attempt to try and see how many new plotlines could be introduced over as few pages as possible.

The second book in this (newest) trilogy I liked best - because it was the most unpredictable. TTS had many of those "Bet I know how this ends" moments.

Darn, now we'll have to wait 6 years for the next Drizzt trilogy to finish ...
