R2: Rats in a Maze [Manzanita judging]

Tor will head to the council house, since Gideon is going to the antique dealer. One of the participants of the first adventure should probably be there, I think.

Morning arrives and the group gathers in the common room for a quick breakfast before tackling their various tasks. Not much idle conversation occurs, as everyone thinks about what the day may hold for them. The meal is soon finished and the companions head their seperate ways to discover whatever information they can.
[sblock=Babette & Tor: ]The sorceress and the warrior make their way through the streets toward the Council House. Their purposeful stride and stern faces warn the other citizens that these are not idle tourists and shouldn't be interfered with. The couple finds themselves in the foyer of the Council House in short order. Personnel scurry here and there, busying themselves with the daily business of managing a city. Nobody seems to pay any attention to the adventurers.[/sblock]
[sblock=Fimble, Gideon & Metrius: ]The trio stands out on the street in front of the inn. The sky cleared during the night and the sun shines on the city again, even though the occasional puddle remains. They look at each other as they try to decide the best way to locate Drezel the gnome antique dealer.[/sblock]

[sblock=At the council...]
Tor walks in and looks for someone either familiar or at a likely looking desk. When he finds someone, he introduces himself and states that he's working for the council.

"How can I get a map of the sewers? Is there a clerks office that keeps such plans?"

Fimble McGee, Gnome Illusionist

[sblock=On the road again...]"Well, I'm not so familiar with this town. Gideon, good fellow, you were here before, yes? Any idea where the merchant's district is? If not, we could always ask a guard or a citizen. There's nothing suspicious about going shopping for antiques, right?" Fimble looks optimistic. The longer he can delay the sewer excursion, the better.[/sblock]

[sblock=On the road]"Yes, I've spent a few days here. I bought a few things at the merchant district before you showed up here, so I know where that is. From there, we should ask around to see if anyone can point us to Drezel's shop. Come on, the merchant district is this way."[/sblock]

[sblock=Tor & Babette: ]The same severe-looking woman Tor remembers from before is manning the main desk, although she gives no indication of recognizing him. "A map of sewer entrances would be in Public Records, down that hall, second door on the left." She points toward a hallway at the western end of the building briefly before continuing on with her work.[/sblock]

[sblock=Fimble, Gideon & Metrius: ]Gideon leads the trio to the Market. The previous night's rain has done nothing to dampen the spirits of the merchants or their customers. Crowds are gathering in front of the most popular stores and stands, and constant streams of people are moving in and out at all four entrances.[/sblock]

[sblock]This seems very straightforward. Barring complications, we aquire it and meet back up with the others.[/sblock]

[sblock=Tor & Babette: ]After the typical bureaucratic runaround, Tor & Babette get a copy of a map of Ravensdale with the entrances to the sewer system marked. This took about an hour, at the end of which they venture back out into the sunshine. As they begin to head back to the Inn, both Tor and Babette notice one of the goons who was with Otto the night before loitering in an alley entrance watching them. He's trying to be nonchalant about it but not doing too good a job.[/sblock]

[sblock=At the council...]Actually, it was a map of the sewer systems we primarilly wanted, not just the entrances to it. Is that sort of map available?[/sblock]
