R2: Rats in a Maze [Manzanita judging]

round 12 continued

Tor takes off in pursuit of the fleeing enemy, swapping out his sword for his chain on the way.

Gideon considers an alternative to running and rushes over to the carriage.

Fimble calmly heads south, loading his crossbow as he walks. He pauses to take aim and let another bolt fly but it doesn't come close to hitting Drezel.

Babette abandons all pretense of defense and breaks into a flat-out run after the wererat.

end of round 12

Tor can double move and draw his chain, but that means he's dropping his sword.

Gideon will need to use a double move action to reach the horses this round, which means he can't start to free the horse til next round.

Wouldn't he have allready dropped his sword? He was stunned.
ooc: Do'h! My bad. :)

start of round 13

Drezel drops all pretense and breaks into a flatout run away from his pursuers.

ooc: Tor and Babette get AoO's

Fimble moves forward as fast as his little legs can carry him while loading his crossbow. He fires another silver arrow, but misses. He feels around in his quiver. Three left, he thinks. Better make 'em count. He loads his crossbow again.

OOC: I'll be gone for about a week and a half, probably with no access to the forums, so I'll need someone to NPC Fimble for me. I'll be around for one more evening, but after that, I'm off. Roll good rolls for me, mmk?

round 13 continued

Tor whips his chain at the fleeing gnome's feet, hoping to entangle and drop him. The weapon flies between his ankles, but the unusually agile creature manages to spin in place and trap the chain with his feet, pulling it out of Tor's hands. Drezel snarls at the warrior and runs away, barely noticing Babette's dagger swipe.

ooc: Drezel's opposed Dex check = 13, counter attack = 12.
