Tor continues to pursue Drezel, as does Babette.

Metrius calls for the coachman to help him calm the horse. The horseman, after a moment's hesitation, moves to help the warrior.

Fimble joins Metrius at the carriage, but is momentarily stymied by the locked trunk.

round 15 started

Seeing he can't outrun Tor, Drezel changes tactics. He turns and launches himself at his pursuer.*

As soon as Drezel moves, Tor swings his chain once more in an effort to drop the wererat to the ground. Drezel's change of direction throws off the fighter's aim and the weapon misses.

The wererat bares his teeth as he attacks, biting down on the first piece of exposed flesh he finds.

After a moment's hesitation, Metrius raises his mace and tries to smash the lock on the chest. In his excitement, he misses the chest and hits the frame of the luggage rack.

ooc: *Triggers AoO from Tor, so I'm using the rolls you posted earlier for a Trip AoO.
Drezel bite attack on Tor = 19, damage = 1
Tor needs to make two Fort saves, one vs. Disease (DC 12) and one vs. Curse (DC 15).
Metrius mace attack on chest = 4
It's Tor's action now.

Babette keeps moving up, preparing to enter melee with the wererat.

Tor is extremely tough, and manages both saves without difficulty.

He once again tries to knock down his fleeing opponent.

Fimble stares blankly at the chest. He's not strong enough to do anything to it, and he's too far from the battle to do any good there either. He huffs and stomps his feet, feeling useless.

OOC: Exactly how far away is everyone else? Is it completely pointless to try to fire an arrow with all the modifiers? If it's within two or three range increments, I may give it a shot anyway and hope for a 19-20.

Tor once more tries to entangle the wererat's feet in his chain. This time he succeeds in dropping Drezel to the ground.

Gideon, with the help of the carriage driver, manages to get the horse calmed down long enough for him to mount the animal.

Unable to get into the chest on the back of the carriage, Fimble takes a moment to search the interior.

Babette hurries forward to help her comrade.

ooc: I did a double move for Babette (60') so she's now 20' away from Drezel.

Gideon will urge the horse after his companions and Drezel, hoping the skittish beast will at least get him close.
