Gnomish paladin - this actually occurred in my one-shot:

DM: Okay, the kobolds have surrendered, and are whimpering quietly in their cave ledge while Annuel and Sian bind their hands with rope.

Eekit, gnomish paladin: I draw my shortsword and stab the nearest one.

DM: You can't be serious.

Eekit: Yeah - I charge. Dude, they're my racial enemy! Garl Glittergold will smile upon me if I kill them all!

DM: Yeah, but they're non-combatants. They've surrendered. Their weapons are behind you. Smiting them goes against just about every tenet of a paladin's code.

Eekit: Okay, then... when do I roll my attack?

DM: If you manage to succeed in killing even one, you WILL fall. You understand that, right?

Eekit: Yeah. Let's go.

DM: Okay, everybody roll initiative.

He ended up in an opposed grapple check with our half-orc barbarian. With the hefty bonus, I ruled that she beat him.

Halfling Barbarian?

I already got one.

Does it help if he's working towards Frenzied Berserker, and is our front-line fighter? He's kinda like a barely domesticated Tarzan, Brachiation and all.
