Race drawing the villain's attention

Normally, I'd say no warning is needed, BUT since this is a fairy esoteric character choice that really just happens to paint a bulls eye on the character for the campaign, I'd say a small heads up sounds reasonable.

I gave him a little warning. Decided that though some people said they would have liked the surprise of finding that out during the campaign, I didn't want to risk it. This is a player I'm not too familiar with yet, and I'd rather play it safe.

Well, he chose to play a tengu anyways, so I guess it doesn't really matter to him. At least that's how it seemed. I just got his tengu monk's character sheet in an email last night.

Game on. Tell us how it went

Will do. If we get far enough and the game goes well enough I'll probably make a Story Hour of it, but for now we're just about to begin.

Game 1 is tomorrow night, and the team is as follows:
M Halfling Paladin (The high-Cha face of the group. Focus seems to be on his tower shield)
F Dwarf Druid (Swampy druid with a crocodile)
F Human Magus (Paranoid daredevil type)
M Tengu Monk (Loner-ish and obsessive compulsive, but rather polite)
