Tibbits!
Personally, I'm looking forward to playing a tibbit beguiler, heralding the return of arcane illusions & enchantments to a psion-stricken land, and challenging the millennia-old hegemony of the Dragon King and his necromancer lackeys.
Tibbits originally appeared in Dragon Magazine 135, July 1988, but have (fortunately!) recently seen reprint in Paizo's Dragon Compendium Volume I. They're a shapeshifter race capable of assuming the form of a common housecat, and are LA +0. In their humanoid form, their attribute modifiers, size and favoured class are similar to those of halflings, and they have some minor aptitude for Spot, Jump and Escape Artist checks. Their lifespan rivals that of elves, and that without a century of childhood.
Guaranteed to make you a cat-lover, even if you aren't one already ... You do like cats, don't you? (will save!) I knew you'd see it my way ... PrrrRRRrrrRRRrrr ...
