Race Question

I am looking for a halfbreed type of race that is inherently magical. Something similar to say the Asimar and Teiflings but instead of being celestial or fiendish in ultimate origin something much more neutral and magical based. Make sense? Any suggestions?

Or suggestions for races that are just inherently magical and who could breed with human(oid)s.

Half-fey from Fiend Folio, perhaps. The Faun from Dieties & Demigods. Faen from Monte Cook's Arcana Unearthed. There's good old elves and half-elves. Centaurs. Satyrs.

If your still thinking planar like tieflings, there's always the half-rilmani, half-slaad, or *gasp* half-modron. . . . although I'm not sure that I'm capable of feeling that level of pity for one PC.
