Races of Eberron Cover Art and Petition

I signed the petition cause I agree I like the original cover better. It looks better and more stylish but at the same time it IS A 'Races of ___' book. its a Hybrid and I'm on the fence about the reason's behind it. I like the original eberron cover better apperance wise but rational etc behind the Core book makes sense too and I would support that line of thought too. I plan to buy it one way or another. I'm not gonna loose out on the material just cause I dont like the cover. But I would like/have-prefered the cover to have the distinctiveness of Eberron. I'd almost suggest a cross-cut hybrid cover if it dident conjur up such a tacky image in my mind.

Seriously, a sleave may not be a half bad idea. *shrugs*

Some folks over on the WotC boards had the same idea and sounded serious about it, but they haven't come up with an image of the binding face or back cover.

Because Amazon & Wizards both only posted a front cover, so if these other pieces even exist, they're not readily available.

The new cover is better, I prefer being able to see the artist's work rather than a kaleidoscopic jumble of awkwardly cropped bits.

I think you're missing the point, the new cover format marks this product as a departure from Eberron's product line. The art isn't as important as easily identifying the product on a store shelf. It's just another shot at the Eberron players in an already thing line up of products supporting the new game setting.

Actually, I don't know why we ARE getting all in a bunch, the Monsters of Eberron book didn't have the format or binding of an Eberron book...

Oh wait, that was Monster Manual III.
