So Races of Stone has come out and features dwarves, gnomes and the (superfluous) goliaths. It offers interesting material on all three races. All well and good.

A forthcoming book is Races of Destiny, which I understand will provide similar exploration for humans, half-elves and half-orcs. Or am I mistaken in this? Will it have a “special” race, ah la the goliaths?

Will there be a book covering elves and halflings? Maybe the Races of Shrubbery or something. Will it also have a “special” race, ah la the goliaths?

Races of Stone - Dwarves, Gnomes, Goliaths
Races of the Wild - Elves, Halflings, and one new one
Races of Destiny - Humans, Half-elves, Half-orcs

I can't find any information detailing Races of Destiny. It may or may not contain a new race. I could see it going either way, since they would all have three races or they could all add a new race. I think they will probably add a new race to make it more profitable, though.

IIRC, Races of Destiny has the Illumians or something of the sort.

I believe Races of Eberron has already been announced and will focus on changelings, shifters and warforged.

From that perspective, Races of Faerun was actually the first in this line.

Races of Stone was a fairly good suppliment. I especially liked the racial substitution levels, and the battlesmith PrC was very cool as well. I also found goliaths to be an interesting race. If Races of Destiny and Races of the Wild are as good, I'll definately check them out as well.

I agree that Races of Stone was a good book. I kept hearing apathy about it because it covered dwarves and gnomes who've already been done to death, but man, Whisper Gnomes and Goliaths kick butt!
