Radiant Assault [Spell Compendium]

Hi, fellow spellcasters!

The text of Radiant Assault (Spell Compendium, p. 164) says this:
This kaleidoscopic burst of energy deals 1d6 points of damage per caster level (maximum 15d6), and dazes for 1d6 rounds. Those that succeed on a Will save take only half normal damage and are dazzled for 1d6 rounds instead.

What is it now? Does anyone know?

I don't see the discrepancy. If you fail the save you are dazed- if you make the save, you take half damage and are only dazzled.

If you fail the Will save by more than ten you are also bedazzled....so beware!

And if you make the save with Ella Fitzgerald you are bewitched, bothered and bewildered?
