Fortifying Rage
While raging you can often avoid critical hits, which makes you more reckless.
Prerequisites: Rage ability, DR 1/-.
Benefit: While raging you may spend an additional use of your rage ability to gain light fortification (25% chance to negate any critical hit). This ability lasts until the end of your current rage. While using this ability you take an additional -2 penalty to your AC. You may not end this ability voluntarily.
Special: If you possess the Greater Rage ability the chance to negate a critical hit increases to 50%. If you possess the Mighty Rage ability the chance to negate a critical hit increases to 100%.
Everything is a weapon.
While raging you can use any item as a lethal weapon.
Prerequisites: Rage ability.
Benefit: While raging you can spend an additional use of your rage ability to gain proficiency in all weapons, including exotic weapons. In addition you gain proficiency with any improvided weapon, and all improvised weapons do 1d6 lethal damage. This ability lasts until the end of your current rage. While using this ability you take a -1 penalty to all attack rolls. You cannot end this ability voluntarily.
Special: If you possess the Greater Rage ability improvised weapons deal 1d8 damage. If you possess the Mighty Rage ability improvised weapons deal 1d10 damage.
Raging Empower
Your rage empowers your spells.
Prerequisites: Rage ability, ability to prepare spells, Empower Spell feat.
Benefit: You may spend a use of rage to spontaneously empower a spell you have prepared. Casting the spell requires a full round action. The spell does not use up a slot higher than normal. This ability lasts for a number of rounds equal to 3 + your Constitution modifier (minimum 1 round). Once you cast a spell the ability ends. If you do not cast a spell before the end of the duration of this ability, the ability is lost.
Raging Maximize
Your rage maximizes your spells.
Prerequisites: Rage ability, ability to prepare spells, Maximize Spell feat.
Benefit: You may spend a use of rage to spontaneously maximize a spell you have prepared. Casting the spell requires a full round action. The spell does not use up a slot higher than normal. This ability lasts for a number of rounds equal to 3 + your Constitution modifier (minimum 1 round). Once you cast a spell the ability ends. If you do not cast a spell before the end of the duration of this ability, the ability is lost.
