You add an undead template to any class with the rage ability, how do you determine how long it rages for with out a Con score?

Undead always causing problems......

Not really a problem.

Rage lasts for 3 rounds plus you newly-modified Con bonus.

Undead don't have Con bonuses, so their Rage lasts for 3 rounds.

As a variant, consider allowing Undead to take a feat (or a special ability) that allows them to rage for 3 + Cha bonus rounds.

A creature with no Con score, i.e. undead, treats the con bonus as +0 but automatically fails the ability check.

So in this case you just treat the con 'bonus' as +0. On the brighter side they don't suffer the windedness.

This is the only refereence to replacing Con with Cha.

I believe that in the actual books there is a reference which says that undead use Cha whenever Con is called for in terms of a particular ability. I can't lay my hands on the books to check it up now, but I'm sure it used to be there even if it isn't in the SRD.

Cheers

Well, it certainly would have to be something else than an adrenaline rush! :D

its a mental snap which causes all the undeads energy to be thrown into a physical effect (Str + Con) - hence the reson it only last for 3 rounds and can't be sustained (as the addition of adrenaline in living creatures allows)

Supporting Plane Sailing here: Almost every special ability an undead uses that is normally based on Constitution (i.e. poison, concentration, etc.) is substituted by Charisma.

Kind regards

I think it's only for DCs, isn't it? I don't really remember...
