I have an idea for a campaign and would like to hear what you guys think of it.
The background is that long ago, Atropus, the World Born Dead, came to my campaign world and nearly ended all life on the planet, but a brave band of heroes gave their lives to destroy him. However, a fragment of his eye was found and it was soon discovered that this fragment could be used to harness the power of Atropus' negative energy. This fragment was called the Will of Atropus
Today a lich is using that power to conquer the world. The party will work to stop him, but as the campaign goes on, a new elder evil presents itself, as Ragnorra, the mother of monsters, approaches the campaign world, and the only thing that can stop her is the Will of Atropus (a limitless source of negative energy to counter a source of corrupt positive energy). The party will have to defeat the lich, claim the Will of Atropus for themselves, and use its power to destroy Ragnorra.
