Raining like a Sun of a Gun at Gencon

I'm sitting in my office about four blocks south of downtown Indy watching it pour rain and listening to the booming thunder. I was going to walk up town to see if I could get in some hobbit/jedi/vampire sightings over lunch--but not in this mess. Maybe all this rain will keep the gamer-funk down...

Sadly I have to wait until Saturday to get my geek on.

Maybe if they hand out soap at the front door it'll make it easier for smelly gamers to not be so smelly! (Free showers!!!)

Surprisingly, I experienced no negatively odiferous adventures this year. I'm sure that karmic balance needs mean the sewage will burst in my apartment soon, though.

It rained during GenCon? I'm thinking I didn't get out the convention center enough.

It smelled bad enough outside of the convention center. I don't know what the hell was going on with the sewers in Indy this year but I don't remember that stench last year.
