Rakshasa

Anyone know if there are rakshasas in the 4e MM, they are pretty crucial to my campaign, and I haven't homebrewed any races, or monsters yet for that matter.

Signs point to really, really likely - Dungeon of Dread has a rakshasa mini.

I wonder what rad is shorthand for. Any ideas?

"Radiant" - essentially the 4E equivalant of positive energy (with Necrotic = negative energy).

Yeah, the mini cards (understandably) use short hand.

I'd also not trust any stats from a mini card at the moment, but they're very good for giving you a good idea of how things will work.

They used weakness against radient damage as a twist on the classic "instantly slain by a friggin puny blessed crossbow bolt" thingie.
It is one of those things that needed a change...

they lost this already at 3.5

but now they also lost magic immunity...

thats a bit sad... i would have liked something like: "attacks from spells are at -X"
