Rakshasa

It appears that 3.5 Monster Manual either omits or purposefully leaves out the vulnerability Rakshasa have to blessed weapons. Does anyone have any clues on what happened? Should they still have this vulnerability?

That vulnerability is folded into the new DR system. The rakshasa now has DR 15/good and piercing.

A blessed crossbow bolt is no longer a one-shot kill, but being a good piercing weapon it does penetrate the DR. (Any blessed or holy piercing weapon works as well.) Anyone using an inappropriate weapon will have to work hard to damage the critter at all.

I think, on reflection, I like the new version of the rakshasa. One of the pcs in my game has a rakshasa enemy...

I like it too, if the holy thing has to be like that so it pierces the heart maybe anything can do that.
