One of the PC's in one of my current game is a Cleric who is also a gambler - I'm using the Star Wars d20 gambling rules - and I find that I need opponents for him, and I need some quick NPC gamblers for him to fleece. Or to fleece him. Whatever.
Anyway, what I really need is simple - a name, and a few sentences that encompasses physical description and personality. I'm not concerned with stats, just description and motivation so that his gambling forays aren't dull, "I'm going to gamble tonight, I rolled a 28, I make 5 gp," affairs.
For example:
Hathar is a dour-looking dwarf dressed all in dark clothes. He claims he gambles to make enough gold to buy his mother a cottage, but he actually works for a local thieves' gang, and gambles as a means of networking with the local underworld.
Got any more for me?
