A ranger cac cast Cure Light Wounds as a 2nd level spell. What price would a ranger have to pay for a wand of Cure Light Wounds or a scroll? Is it prices as the cleric equivalent or the ranger spell level?

I assume you mean for crafting the item herself? If she buys it, she pays the market price like everyone else. If she crafts it, she pays 2*4*25 / 2 = 100 GP for a scroll of CLW and 2*4*750 / 2 = 3000 GP for a wand.

Oh, and yes, that means that they can buy an equivalent item from a cleric for exactly the price of crafting it themselves (they wind up craft it at creation price = market price for the Caster Level, which is 4).

Actually, that's 2*2*25 = 100 gp for market price since Ranger casting level is half ranger level. Similarly for the wand. What I actually wanted to know, though, was whether ranger could use a wand crafted by a cleric for 750 gp even though it's a 2nd level spell for the ranger. Since it's on the ranger spell list, it just seems that the character should be able to, but it's just slightly odd that a ranger's 2nd level spells are cheaper.

The ranger can use it.

The only restriction is that he can't use arcane scrolls (spell completion items) even if the spell is on his list. So a bard can't use a cleric made scroll of cure light wounds, since he casts arcane spells. Wands don't use this restriction, though.

You did the numbers wrong. Its 2*4*25. Ranger caster level is half of her ranger level (that's correct), but you need to look again at what level rangers get 2nd-level spells (or I'll tell you: the answer is 8 :) ). Also, there's no such thing as "Ranger market price." The market price is always based on the lowest possible crafting price (so its based on the cleric).

Oh, and ThirdWizard is correct about uses.
