Mr. 3000 (Words per post)
I'm such a tease... I have here in my virtual hand a copy of the new PDF from S.T. Cooley Publishing, the Elided Enduements of the Expanse... aka, "that one Ranger PDF with the really funky name." It's a little on the light side, weighing in at just 48 pages, but I hope it will provide plenty of "pizazz" for rangers. It was written with both 3.0 and 3.5 rules in mind, and contains a couple of sidebarss explaining how things work in both systems.
Here, in case you are curious, is the table of contents.
The combat chapter deals mostly with a few new "tricks" that anyone can try to pull with their weapons (thrown or otherwise, though the thrown weapon section gets the spotlight). The selection of Feats presented in Chapter five reflects this focus, though there are a few Feats that are especially appropriate for rangers.
This will be made available tomorrow or possibly later today if I'm lucky - at RPGNow.com - I won't be able to upload this little dude until I get home tonight (something about not mixing "work on the side" at my employer's place LOL). I'll post the teaser on Synergist Classes at the same time.
Anybody have any questions or comments or "things they really hope this book covers?" Fire away, I'll be fielding these until I go home and can upload this puppy so you can all have a look for yourselves.
I'll put a Press Release in the Publisher's Forum once it's up at RPGNow.com.

You, like most, are probably wondering what a "Synergist Class" could be. The short answer is that it's a one-level Prestige Class with a slight twist - the abilities granted by the class have their own sets of prerequisites that must be met before the character gains the benefit of their use. In other words, you don't get all the abilities of the class at once, and if you're careless, you may not get all of the abilities at all! I'll be posting a short (four- to six-page) teaser later tonight, too, with all the "dirt" on Synergist classes.Foreword 2
