I have no interest in either Xbox. The original doesn't seem to have any games I'm interested in. As for new consoles, I don't feel like plunking down a lot of cash for a system that only has a dozen or so titles at release, most of which aren't that impressive, since programmers aren't testing the system's true limits. The really cool games usually don't come out for 2 or 3 years after a console is released it seems. Backwards compatibility in newer systems isn't a big reason for me to rush out and get a new console, if I still have the old system and it works well, although after a few years, it would be a bigger selling point for me.
