Acrobat Reader jiggery pokery

Had to do some weird reinstalling of Acrobat Reader to get it to download at work and will be interested to see what happens when I try to open the file at home tonight.

Aside from the fact that I don't like DRM (on the grounds that it is so flawed a solution to the perceived problem as to be counterproductive), the Win98 machine I use for my gaming applications won't run Acrobat 6. So no free product for me.

I'd like to download this and I took a look at it before, but I don't want to go through all the rigmarole of filling out personal info. I might do it later, give them a fake name, address, etc., like I usually do. I hopw I remember. I hear Rappan Athuk rocks.

I've had no problems with the DRM. File downloaded and opened just as smoothly as everything else I've got from them. Glad to have it.

I see lots of "I'm not getting it because of DRM". Just want to add some thought from my experience.
I've been downloading all of the free products from drivethrurpg, and several of them are products I would have NEVER bought, or even looked at. This has prompted me to look more closely at manufactuers I'm not familiar with. (which is a good thing, I think). I was impressed with Sorcery and Steam (FFG) and some parts of the others I picked up.
I also bought several products, and I will admit that the DRM thing is just killing me. I can't copy and paste the information into my campaign tool like I want, and I may stop buying things from that site altogether, even though there are plenty of products I want electronically.

Anyway, I would suggest at least giving the free stuff a try, and see if you find it limiting as well, but if the style of your gaming does not impede you, you'll be happier for it.

I re-installed AR6 twice and the DRM still wouldn't activate. So I can't even give DRm a try for free.

I had trouble downloading it tonight, too. So, I think the problem must be on their end. I'll give it a try for free, but I don't see the sense in buying from DTRPG.

I downloaded Rappan Athuk I no problem. Quite happy I did.

I've downloaded several freebies from DTRPG hadn ahvne't had a single problem.
