With Meyer coming to, seeing Ilsa and Rasputin, and then blacking out again? The way people are commenting, it seems that Liz torches the place, and then they go straight to the capture-in-chains scene.

I missed this. It looks like the prints are complete in some areas (or were replaced). :)

It was clear as day in the print that I saw. I read Ebert's review before going in, so I was looking for it as well. It's all petty clear. I really doubt that there are different prints of the film floating around.

Probably a few bad ones slipped by in the beginning. Most likely, those with the bad cut have been replaced by now.
 


I saw the scene. I didn't think it explained anything, but I saw it. I, too, find it difficult to imagine that there are different prints running around...

I quite liked it. Visually it was stunningly well-executed but I do agree that there wasn't a lot of tension. However, I think it's one of the best comic book adaptations ever.
