D&D 5E (2014) Ravnica Monsters & Minis

So while I am waiting for my Ravnica monster mini sets to arrive I am looking
through the Guildmaster guide. They have some very interesting creatures in here,
some cooler than others, some a little odd. There's some good choices I wish they
had included in the minis set, like the Bloodfray Giant, a Huge opponent with a
fantastic picture.

However, this "scary" dude has an AC 14 and 103 HP!!! What are they thinking?
This guy won't last two rounds against a party with stats like that.

Likewise, the shadow horror and skittering horror do not have a matching minis, both
of which would have made some fantastic sculpts.

Anyway, the minis set looks good overall and fills some niches that I don't have in my
collection of weird figures.

And I have no idea what this thing is but it looks terrifying. The Ravnica setting actually seems pretty intriguing, and definitely has the old Planescape Sigil vibe.

I agree, this would have made a cool as hell mini.

They're a really nice set though from what I've seen online, I'll be picking up a brick when they hit the shelf at my local store. There have been delays on the last few months worth of products (here in Sydney)

I think with Magic players buying them too they should do well, I'm expecting more down the track.
