Reality deviant Publications is proud to announce the release of Monsters of Conjuration!

This is the second pdf in Reality Deviant Publications’ Monsters of Magic product line, each pdf in the series detailing monsters based on the schools of magic. Within the pages of this pdf you will find six extensively detailed monsters based around the theme of conjuration. These monsters will either be creatures that rely on conjuration magic, are based on some element of a conjuration spell or are related to the school of conjuration in some other way.

Each monster entry contains full details on the monster, including description, background, ecology, hunting methods, habits, society and combat statistics. To further entice you to use these creatures in your games, an adventure hook is given for each monster in the pdf. DMs are encouraged to make the most of the supporting background material on every monster to create interesting, detailed and realistic encounters based on the nature and ecology of the creatures presented.

In addition, this pdf contains a number of new conjuration spells, as well as two new and interesting NPCs based on the creatures contained within this pdf. We sincerely hope that you enjoy this product!

Just for simplicities sake couldn't you guys have cut and pasted all the SRD summonable creatures into this? Or is that beyond what is allowed by the OGL?

The summon monster spells are part of the "school of conjuration" right? So, just so eveything might be in one place for me if I was using this pdf, couldn't you have just cut and pasted into this document all the SRD monsters?

Doesn't really matter, unless you have this pdf unalterable. I can cut and paste the stuff in myself, and index it easily enough if I want to.

To be honest with you, I never once thought about doing that. The art cost for a project that large would be considerable. ehh.. maybe not... I'd have to do some research on exactly how many creatures are out there that can be tied to conjuration.

It's a good idea though.

I wouldn't mind adding those creatures to the book if they weren't illustrated.

I'm not suggesting illustrations, just convenience. Add it as a kind of appendix so there is a separation of expectations in comparison to the art and design of the rest of the pdf.
