Re-do : 1001 Free Online Resources for download

My hard drive blew up a few weeks ago. NOW I have 2 hard drives so I can easily back up, but oh well - Live and learn. I was able to have a friend "ghost" my drive and save some work stuff before it went completely kaput, but:

I lost ALL my RPG files! All the .pdf's I had ever bought on RPG now. (Any hope of ever getting replacements for those? Phil Reed, I hardly knew ye! ) All the previews and web extras. All my maps.

All

gone.

Please help me and others build a good library of electronic resources.

I know there is a thread of non-RPG websites relevant for gaming, but I need a list of good RPG resources.

I'll start with a few easy ones:

1) Sovelior/Sage 3.5 SRD Document:
http://www.systemreferencedocuments.org/35/sovelior_sage/home.html

2) WotC's MAP-a-WEEK:
http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/mw/20050802a

Drop me an e-mail at roninartspresident@yahoo.com and we'll figure out what you should have. I'll then send you download links.

Also keep in mind that if you buy a PDF at RPGNow and choose the burn to CD option they'll usually burn all of your previous purchases on the same disk (if you ask nicely).

Believe it or not, I've suffered the same fate as you. RPGNOW has a listing of everything you ever bought and most of it you can get sent to you just by signing on and going into your account. It's really cool. Of course you only get so many downloads of some things so try not to let it happen often. What i do is back up everything on my laptop and work computer from now on .

Please help me

I have an amazing amount of stuff, and nearly all of it was free. My yahoo address is buttercup_rpger, and if you drop me a line, I will gladly help you out.

Well, you can get the entire The Kyngdoms Campaign Setting for free online. That's an excellent resource in my opinion :D

We also have our new Utilities page, which includes a couple of fully fleshed out locales, a whole bunch of useful tables (for commoner and expert trades, races, classes, etc), including our potion description table.

And there's also our free adventure as well.

Now that's a whole lot of useful stuff :D

Away from The Kyngdoms, here are a few useful sites:

The Forge
Crooked Staff Productions
DungeonLord
Medieval Demographics Made Easy
DnDResources

A couple more online campaign settings:

Farland
Barsoom

Also, as pointed out, RPGNow tracks all your purchases and allows you a number of downloads (3?) per pdf. So you can just go to your account, check out your purchase history and start downloading. It's an excellent service.
