Really, No PC Gnomes! Stop Asking!

Even given the info from the Racial Traits chapter in the MM, there is no way you can play a PC gnome.

I'm a little disappointed because I'm pretty sure we were led to believe there would be enough there to tide us gnome PC players to their inclusion in a PHB.

All you gnome haters out there can take further comfort in knowing that there are a couple gnome monster entries you can beat up at level 2 or 3.

You can't play them because there are no racial feats listed! Gnomes should have access to the same disappointing racial feats that the other races got!

Here's one:

Sneaky Mending
Daily * Healing
Free Action Personal
Special: You must be bloodied to use this power.
Effect: Gain temporary hit points equal to your strength modifier after scoring a melee critical hit on an attack made while invisible from the use of your Fade Away ability.

The MM clearly says they are guidelines for creating PC versions of the monsters. They are not claimed to be full rules.

Do what DMs always have done: use your imagination and make it up! You have as much right to make a PC gnome as anyone, and it will be perfect for your own personal game.
