[Realms of Evil] Webmaster Needed

KingOfChaos

First Post
I find with my busy schedule of writing and exercise that I have very little time to update the main Realms of Evil site. In fact, if you visit the main site, you'll see that I have not updated it in nearly a year if not more. One of the reasons is I am no longer a computer info major and do not know all the new programming languages. I like to concentrate on writing now and the idea of coding makes me want to vomit.

So, what I am looking for is someone who can help me redesign/recode the website. This would be volunteer position, because I am a poor person, but you'd be partly responsible for helping to revitalize the internet's oldest D&D website just in time for it's 11th birthday.

If anyone who's HTML/Java and/or Cold Fusion savvy would like to help out, you can e-mail me at RoETyrant@aol.com and we can talk. :)

Hi Shawn,

I know this post is beginning to get dated, but are you still looking for someone to help with your website? I have a degree in Computer Science and know a good bit about HTML and Java, so I would be willing to give you a helping hand. I just didn't want to take up room in your inbox if you've already found someone for this position. If not, let me know, and I will send you a more in-depth email. Or you can contact me at pipermelissa at hotmail dot com ;)

Nope, haven't found a single person yet. :( Do you think you could do a new template for RoE? We really only need one template done that can be applied to for every page with menus and such being called up through includes. Art isn't a problem, since I have a rather LARGE team of artists to help with website graphics. It's just the coding that is giving me the problem.

Sorry it took me so long to reply, but I have been reeaally busy. I recently secured a couple of paying freelance gigs that I have been concentrating on finishing. I took a look at your website, and I think it already looks awesome. Honestly, I don't know if I could top it at the moment. I could give it a try later on down the road, but I think I need a bit more practice right now. I'm working on developing my personal website at the moment, and it is a learning experience for me.
