Reaper Mini's new d20 adventure, THE ELDEST SON

Kaptain_Kantrip

First Post
The Eldest Son just came out last week and looks great! Beautiful art, clever story (must use brain not just sword, lots of NPC interaction), memorable NPCs. A really slick production. Nice to see Reaper bring their special brand of magic to the d20 fantasy adventure market!

They also make a full line of gorgeous 28-30mm miniatures that offer great quality at a great value. Check them out at:

My favorite part of this adventure is the two page catalog spread in the back, where you can preview and order every miniature you would need to run the module.

It does look like very nice quality although I haven't given it a stiff read-through yet.

Just where on the web page is it mentioned? (Good lord, their web site is worse than WOTC's).

Anyway, I remember the Traveller adventure Ral Partha put out. Not bad, but looked like a coloring book (and in fact the copy I have, was colored in by one of the previous owners)

Oh man you are right.

Thay have great figs but the site is bad...

(and what is up with all the people from st. louis in one thread?)

It would appear that St. Louis has agreed, Reaper change your site.

Orco42 I thought the same myself.

I think they update their webpage once every year or two, whether it needs it or not.

Seriously, I've given up on Reaper's web page. If I want to know what Reaper miniatures are available I go to http://www.dragglestown.com and look there. Pictures of every miniature and a more reasonable update rate (although recently they've been slower than they used to be).

OK, I just browsed back there for the first time in months. Suprisingly the Dark Heaven miniature page is mostly up-to-date. Must have had it's yearly upgrade. However, go to the boxed sets page and you'll see them advertise for "Kaladrax, Dire-Drake" coming in August. That was last August...it's been out a while (as has the pirates boxed set, also listed as "coming soon").

Dragglestown. Definitely the way to go. My bad for not mentioning it in my original post! D'OH!

Yeah, I totally agree this is a great module and I was surprised at how good it looks. Very well done!

Reaper's website isn't their top priority and it frequently gets put off. :/ They're very busy doing casting, paint mixing and just over all production so the website gets put on the back burner.

If you're ever looking for anything Reaper I'm only 15 minutes away from them and I talk to them all the time. :)
