Recapturing my half-elf heritage

Say I'm a guy born of two worlds, and I'm trying to represent the rich heritage of both elven and human elements in my home environment. Can you suggest any art, items, furniture arrangement or general design tips? And over the years, have you noticed a genuine human-elf mixed heritage style elvolve into its own?

I think they would collect items from both Humans and elves. Art from both peoples and perhaps if they have the money even design their abode to be a mixture of architure designes of both peoples.

In my own homebrew I actually have a island nation of just half elves. So, I definatly see half elves getting together in their country and defining themselves.

Purge yourself of the Internet, and live in a house carved out of a living Redwood. A penchant for androgynous artwork might be appropriate too.

I too have an island nation of Half-Elves, though "Half" is not really an appropriate name. Humans, High Elves and Half-Elves have married and had offspring for so many generations that many of the Elves of the island are just named for the island itself.

Their culture is a mix of Elves and Human with a strong slant toward seafaring and being a major hub of business.
