Is the (recharge 5 6) notation explained in KotS?

It's been speculated that this means the ability recharges on the 5 and 6 on a d6, but does KotS happen to include a more detailed explanation? Like when you roll, do you roll for each ability separately or all together, and such?

You roll separately for each power--that was confirmed by a dev on one of the eighteen hojillion KotS threads floating around here.
